Millson | When Millson told us they were hosting a private Outstanding In The Field event for their business partners
and colleagues, we knew the invitation would need to be truly special. When all was said and done, these custom
folders were mostly hand delivered, complete with a hidden photograph of the tables set at UBC Farm in Vancouver
and a personalized booklet of what to expect, what to wear and where to go, etc. But our favorite thing was that the innovative, high-tech Millson chose one of the most beautiful, personal, back-to-the-earth kind of events to represent
them. And let us design a recycled, soft, tactile piece to spread the word about it. Probably one of the most fun
projects we've worked on to date.
Rabe & Company | We never had a "launch" party (unless you count $140 in Presidentes between the two of us
at Puck Fair during World Cup the week we officially incorporated), so we threw down for a big party one year later.
Once again employing the awesome letterpress skills at Fiddlesticks, we took over Sweet Afton in Astoria with free
t-shirts, personalized favor cards (we wanted to put the pressure on ourselves that we were good for another year),
and of course, just a few drinks. Cheers to that.
Bryan & Christina | Inspired by the menus of some of their favorite restaurants and the beautiful restoration of the old factory building they would be married in. Congrats Bryan and Christina! "Dinner and awesome times to follow" was no lie.
Liz & Brendan | Liz asked Ken to work up a look for her wedding invite with little to go on: "It's a blue blood meets
blue collar meets bluegrass kind of thing," she said. So Ken got out the old Penguin classics, found a Damask pattern
he couldn't take his eyes off, and then let it rust a little bit with burnt orange type. Voila! East coast cool with true
Kentucky spirit.
